The Unity Centre is West Cheshire’s Multicultural Hub, housing 8 different community organisations working in partnership with the Race & Equality Centre and each other.

CHAWREC manage The Unity Centre which is West Cheshire’s Multicultural Hub, housing different community organisations working in partnership with the Race & Equality Centre and each other – Sanjhi Indian Association, the Hungarian Community, the Wah Lei Chinese Association, Xin Hua Chinese Association, Japanese Mums and Tots, Nipponkai, Cheshire Asian and Minority Communities Council and West Cheshire Multicultural Women’s Group.

The Centre is a focal point for BME communities, offering a wide range of targeted activities and services from one central point. Members of the wider public are also encouraged to get involved in the Centre, whether by coming along to activities hosted here or volunteering to help.

ESOL Classes @ the Unity Centre

We offer a wide range of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes at the Unity Centre, from informal drop in classes through to formal qualifications with Ascentis.

Drop in classes are Mondays @ 1pm and Fridays at 10am, they last 1.5hrs and are FREE to anyone. There is a beginners and advanced class.
